This course walks you through building real workflows in n8n. You start with the basics (triggers, scheduling, HTTP requests) and work up to transforming data, handling errors, and building an AI agent that can look up customer records and answer questions.

Who is this course for
Anyone getting started with n8n. No coding experience required, though some familiarity with APIs and JSON is helpful. If you have never used n8n before, this is the right place to start.
What you'll need
- An n8n instance (cloud or self-hosted)
- An API key from a chat model provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or any supported provider) for the AI agent section
- Join the n8n Discord server
How grading works
There are three components to grading for this course. Section quizzes, hands-on workflow exercises and a final exam. Some questions are conceptual, others require a working workflow or agent to answer. Complete the workflow exercises before attempting the quizzes.

Do I need to pay for n8n?
n8n Cloud has a free trial. You can also self-host n8n for free.
Do I need an AI LLM account?
The AI agent section requires an API key from any supported chat model provider. Most providers offer free trial credits. You can use OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Groq, or others.
How long does the course take?
Most learners finish in 3 to 5 hours.
When do I get my badge?
As soon as you receive a passing grade, your badge will be automatically assigned. If this is your first badge, you will receive an email from our badges platform.
Is this a certification?
No, this is not a certification, you will recieve a badge and a certificate of completion.
